Chicago Blower

Pressure Blower for Leach Aid process system for overseas customers. The five fans are equipped with shaft seals, blast gates, expansion joints, inlet filter boxes, bolt on isolator bases and springs.

Fans were export crated for overseas shipment.

This rotor assembly illustrates the capabilities of a Dual Drive fan application. The drivers are redundant with an AC Electrical Motor and the other driver is a steam turbine.

Both drivers have the ability of variable speed operation.

Axial fans are manufactured for lower pressure higher volume applications. This application involved thirty-six axial fans used for cooling of gear boxes on large industrial cooling towers.

This fan was constructed in three pieces to allow for ease of installation in a confined area. The fan was disassembled and then re-assembled for operation.

Continental Blower

Below are two recent projects completed by Continental Blower.

The shipment of over 1 million dollars in High Pressure Multi-centrifugal blowers for the mining industry. These blowers were provided as ancillary equipment  to other process equipment that was purchased for a mining mill operation.

The blowers range in size from 75 to 350 horsepower.

Another project that utilized the vacuum capability of transferring combustible fuel in a Bio-Gas plant. Similar applications also exist for Continental in the landfill industry for methane flares.  New EPA legislation is creating more restrictive requirements for flare operations increasing pressure and flow requirement to existing systems to improve efficiencies.

These are two examples of Continental Multi-Centrifugal Blowers turning air into a tool for industry.
